I remember first being afraid of the devil as a little girl, having watched bits of The Exorcist. Much of it was either edited for me, which I doubt.. movies were live on ABC, CBS, or NBC in the 80s, so there was little opportunity to cover kids’ eyes. Or, the movie was so scary, my subconscious…
